About Short Snout Support

Short Snout Support is a 501(c)(3) public benefit organization dedicated to advancing community-based public health education through companion animal engagement.

Right now, we have a growing disconnect in the English and French Bulldog world.

Families are bringing these dogs home without fully understanding what they’re getting into from health needs to long term care, and that gap in knowledge is showing up later in very real ways. We’re seeing more dogs surrendered, more strain on rescues, and rising costs that many families were never prepared for in the first place. At the same time, the financial side of rescue has become increasingly unclear, leaving a lot of people questioning where the money is going and whether the system is actually supporting dogs and families the way it should.

The Bulldog Beauty Contest

Designed as a fun, non sanctioned, marketplace style experience for brachycephalic breed owners, it brings families and community based resources together in one place.

Through companion animals, it delivers accessible public health education, promotes responsible pet ownership, and increases awareness of trusted resources such as the American Kennel Club and the Bulldog Club of America.
